I'm Antonio Guerrero, a physiotherapist licensed by Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid in 2001. From the beginning of my career, I've had the opportunity to work in prestigious institutions such as Asepeyo Coslada Private Hospital, Madrid Football Society, Fraternidad Private Hospital in Madrid, and Ballesol Geriatric Hospital in Pozuelo.
After spending a few years in Madrid, I decided to broaden my horizons and moved to London, where I continued my professional development at renowned centers such as Guy’s and St Thomas' Hospital, West London Physiotherapy, and London Bridge Hospital. During this time, I also trained in sports medicine with exclusive courses at FC Barcelona, acquiring key skills for treating elite athletes.
Later, my career took me to the Campo de Gibraltar area, where I worked in various institutions, including Punta de Europa Public Hospital in Algeciras, Fegadi (Federation for the Disabled of Cádiz), the Alzheimer’s Association, and several private clinics in the region. This stage allowed me to specialize in a wide range of pathologies and treatments, working with geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities.
My quest for knowledge led me to the United States, where I trained in the latest physiotherapy techniques at renowned hospitals and clinics in New York, such as New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Centre, Equilibrium Physical Therapy, and KIMA Center for Physiotherapy & Wellness.
In 2015, I obtained a Manual Therapy certification from the International Maitland Teachers Association (IMTA), which allowed me to refine my techniques and focus on the art of Manual Therapy, a discipline I'm passionate about and that I successfully apply with my patients.
That same year, I settled in Marbella, where I opened my own clinic, which has remained open after eight years of dedicated work. Over the years, I've treated all types of patients and collaborated with renowned clinics in Marbella, such as Clínica Doctor Campos, Manolo Santana Racquet Club, Clínica Premium Marbella, and the Bastiano Berguese Foundation Against Cancer, among others. I was also part of the physiotherapy team for the World Padel Tour in 2015.
As a physiotherapist specializing in musculoskeletal treatments and sports injuries, my goal has always been to improve my patients' quality of life. I use a wide range of innovative techniques and have never lost my passion for learning and perfecting the art of healing.
If you are looking for personalized treatment based on the latest techniques, I would be pleased to help you at my clinic in Marbella. My license number in the Andalusian Physiotherapy Society is 5692.
